Wizard & Oz Concert
On Sunday 25th April 2010 (Anzac Day) we will again be hosting the very wonderful music duo Wizard & Oz.
Andrew Farrell & David McMillan will amaze you with their piano, guitar and vocals - you won't be disappointed (visit the Wizard & Oz website for more info).
5-8pm in the gardens at Nargoon. $45 per head (includes a drink and nibbles on arrival, supper and tea/coffee with slices). Wine and drinks available for purchase.

Australia Day - Pizzas, Pies & Pavlova
On Tuesday 26th January we will again be hosting our popular Pizzas, Pies & Pavlova Day in honour of Australia Day! Visitors to Nargoon can enjoy the shady surrounds, chilled wines and delicious hot wood-fired pizzas. Other traditional Australian fare will also be the order of the day .... Mark on your calendar ....
Our converted woolshed and gardens provide a unique backdrop for a day out with a difference. It has been host to weddings, open-air musical performances, private parties and is also the perfect family-friendly option (complete with covered sandpit for the little ones).
For 2010 keep an eye out for special days at Nargoon - Mothers and Fathers Day, Melbourne Cup, Christmas Market Day - all very successful and will be on again. Details will be posted here closer to the time.

Christmas Market Day
Our popular Market Day is on again with lots of great stalls and shopping on Thursday 3rd December 2009 from 10am till 3pm with proceeds from the gate will support Breast Cancer Research. The markets are a private showing by numerous classic collections of clothing, gourmet food ranges and giftware suppliers.

Wood fired pizza Sundays
Gundagai Wines is hosting Pizza Sunday on the last Sunday of every month. We have yummy, fresh wood fired pizza's at the Nargoon woolshed (11am - 3pm).
They are proving popular so bookings are essential (call Chris on 0419 220 711).
Melbourne Cup & Choirs in the Vines
Several days to mark in your calendars ... Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday 3 November where hats & gloves will be compulsory! Gundagai Wines are hosting a light luncheon with big screen to watch the all important "big race" (bookings essential for catering).
We are also holding a Track Winding Back to Choirs in the Vines on Sunday 15th November 2009. This will be a fundraiser for Uralba and will feature the Wagga City Rugby Male Choir, Murrumbidgee Magic Womens Choir, Tumbarumba Community Choir and special guest soloists. The day will run from 3.30pm - 7.30pm ($15 entry) with picnic hampers available for purchase (or bring your own). Again, bookings please so call Chris on 0419 220 711.
Mothers Day at Nargoon
We had a great gathering of families and friends on Sunday 10th May for Mothers Day ... it was Picnic Day at the Cellar Door! Choice of baguettes and devonshire tea for the grown-ups and sausage sizzle and icecream cones for the kids.
Remember, it doesn't need to be mother's day to treat mum ... we are open from 10.30 - 4.30pm every weekend!
Another successful Christmas Market Day at Nargoon
The Christmas Market Day held on the 4th December at the Nargoon Cellar Door was another huge success.
Lots of gorgeous stalls and plenty of Christmas shopping inspiration - children's wear, jewellery, bags, homewares, garden gifts, toys and much more.
This was a Pink Ribbon event with all gold coin donations going to support the Cancer Council and Pink Ribbon Day.

New wine releases
Watch out for our 08 Chardonnay and 07 Cabernet Sauvignon. Both will be bottled at the end of November - ready to take on 2009! We will endeavour to hold on to these two, plus the Shiraz for the 100th year Nargoon Celebration in 2011.
